I was waiting for some guidance to do a home project on my own but I was always scared. Divya and team helped me to do it and was very helpful with the entire process. They guided in each and every step from the process of selecting the design to installation . Their work shop helped me in using the tools which I never worked on . Finally I was able to finish my wall and was happy with the output. Thanks Divya and Team!

It’s the inspiration on one side and putting that inspiration in action on the other. Amidst so many Instagram visuals, I have always envisioned a DIY that I’d be proud of but it took the right call from DesiDIY(who I actively follow) to make that vision real. I described it like a journey.. from taking measurements— how to take exact ones, then visualizing the design on your wall and ensuring you get the best wallpaper and slats for it… thank you for all your suggestions, walking us through all our super basic teething issues, your step by step guidance and what to focus on and when. Of coz this diy needed a lot of family support too and for the first time I worked with my spouse on a project. Things I’ve been so proud off in addition to this beautiful accent wall – sanding a wall perfectly, Executing the wall paper on the wall and aligning it with its consecutive parts until the getting the last part on the wall was a breeze, holding a hand saw for the first time and cutting with it, using a nail gun, painting the baseboard…. So I said it’s a journey esp when it all comes together that even though it may not be perfect You are so proud of the outcome. Thank you Desi DIY for this vision of yours and for encouraging each one of us to make us feel so good about this achievement.

1. I liked the idea of sharing the step by step guide for each activity to the team to do some homework prior joining the call.

2. I loved the way you reaching out to everyone and check on their questions and provide inputs/recommendations etc over the Zoom meetings and also sharing the recordings later for reference.
