Some spaces aren’t meant to impress anyone. They’re meant to hold you… gently, quietly, exactly as you are.
Project Zivah started as a simple idea—a cozy little coffee corner. But somewhere along the way, it turned into something deeper. Something softer. A small, sacred pause in the middle of busy days. The kind of place where mornings don’t feel rushed, and you get a chance to just be before the world asks anything of you.
Zivah means the light of God. Not the loud, overwhelming kind that demands attention. But the quiet, steady glow that shows up every single day… without fail.
And that’s what we wanted this space to feel like. A gentle beginning. A soft exhale. A little light you can return to—again and again.

From Chaos to Calm (The Real Story)
This space didn’t start off dreamy. It began with snowed-in days, a lot of back-and-forth, plenty of “wait… measure that again,” and honestly, a little chaos. What was meant to be a simple wallpaper update slowly turned into something much bigger—a dining bench, a cozy little corner, and ceiling panels with the softest warm glow. Somewhere in between all the tools, opinions, and laughter (and yes, no one escaping my camera), this space came to life—not perfectly, but beautifully.

The Canopy Moment (Our Favorite Layer)
If there’s one element that quietly changed everything in this space, it’s the canopy. What started as a simple ceiling idea turned into a soft, glowing layer that almost feels like it’s hugging the corner. It draws your eyes up, adds depth, and instantly makes the space feel more intimate—like a little cocoon you can step into.
We designed it using ceiling panels paired with warm lighting, and the effect is subtle but powerful. It’s not loud or overdone, it just glows. Especially during early mornings or cozy evenings, it creates a calm, peaceful vibe you can actually feel. And honestly, it’s what makes this corner feel different from the rest of the house. It’s not just a design feature, it’s a feeling—a little pause and a little warmth.

What Zivah Means to Us
Zivah is a reminder that your space doesn’t need to be flawless to feel beautiful, and it doesn’t need complete silence to feel peaceful. Sometimes, all it takes is a little light, a little stillness, and a quiet moment to steady your heart before stepping into everything else.
Before

Before Project Zivah, this space was simply an empty corner with a plain wall and a small wallpaper idea in mind. It felt unfinished and lacked the warmth and intention we wanted for this part of our home. It had potential, but it wasn’t a space we naturally gravitated toward.
After Transformation

After the transformation, that once-overlooked corner became one of the coziest spots in our home. What started as wallpaper evolved into a custom dining bench, a warm and inviting nook, and a canopy design that completely changed the feel of the space. With soft lighting, layered textures, and, thoughtful details, it now feels calm, meaningful, and like a place you actually want to sit and stay for a while.
The Grand Reveal

And then it all came together. After all the measuring, rethinking, and little chaotic moments, we finally stepped back—and it just clicked. The bench felt inviting, the canopy above gave off the softest glow, and the entire corner felt warm, calm, and so us. It wasn’t a big, dramatic reveal, just a quiet, grounding moment where everything felt right. This space didn’t just look different—it felt like a place you actually want to sit, stay, and slow down.
